After a very long flight from Madrid to Chicago (where i had to say goodbye to Ubah) and then to Seattle, i landed safely back home right in time for Christmas. Shortly after that it was back to school, at first i had a hard time adjusting to life on the palouse. I forgot how many students go here! It was also weird wearing sweatshirts and dealing with the snow again. The hardest change was how hard classes were and how much stress came with that. I also kind of missed hearing Spanish as much as i did in Spain. Yes i have a couple of Spanish classes, but i miss having teachers who are really funny and actually have Spanish as their native language. I was able to talk about Spain for a class video, which was nice to remember all the things i learned in Spain about the culture.
It has been hard adjusting back, all the things i thought i missed so much while in Spain have been slightly disappointing and not as wonderful as i remembered. I hope to visit Spain again, and maybe have a different outlook while there.
I will be graduating in May and can't believe 4 years are already over. I will have summer school and then probably move back home. As jobs go, I have no idea what is in store for me but i am excited to see what the future holds and what possible jobs i can get with my majors.
